This statement is made on behalf of TI Media's leadership team with regards to the Modern Slavery Act 2015. This Act requires large businesses like ours to be transparent about their efforts to eradicate slavery and human trafficking in their supply chain.
We are committed to running our business responsibly and maintaining a high standard of ethical trade practices in accordance with our Ethical Sourcing Guidelines, which outline in detail our policies and practices in recognising and preventing modern slavery in our supply chain.
TI Media is Britain’s leading publisher of print and digital magazine content. With more than 40 brands, ranging from What's on TV and Country Life to Decanter and woman&home – we create engaging content for multiple platforms, across print, online, mobile, tablets and experiences.
Our supply chains include paper manufacturers, providers of print & production services, suppliers of event spaces for conferences, technology and other office equipment, professional services from our lawyers, accountants and other advisors, office cleaning, catering, hospitality and other office facilities services, and the services of Marketforce, a wholly-owned subsidiary which provides distribution services to us and a number of third party publishers. We have implemented internal guidelines to identify those suppliers and licensees which are deemed high risk for the business.
We are committed to improving our processes with regard to the Modern Slavery Act and acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships. We will also work closely with our business partners to put in place effective systems and controls to ensure slavery and human trafficking is eradicated if and where it is discovered in our supply chains.
Our objective is to ensure that we only work with suppliers who treat their obligations towards modern slavery with the same importance that we do. To this end, we are putting in place systems to identify and assess potential risk areas in our supply chains.
To ensure a high level of understanding of the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking in our supply chains and our business, we will be providing training to our staff.
